Scooters Crèche, Montessori & After-School Club opened its doors on 12th September 2005 and is now well established in the Sligo area. The crèche is owned and run by Catriona Belton.
Catriona has a background in nursing and trained in Liverpool (S.R.N.) She also trained as a Reflexologist and opened her own clinic, The Happy Health Centre, in Newcastle, Co. Wicklow, where she gathered a group of qualified people to provide a variety of Alternative Therapy services.
Catriona moved to Sligo in 2005 and opened Scooters that year.
The Play Area
There is a 3,800 sq. ft. outdoor play area, with a combination of a state of the art “Easifall” surface and grass. We provide a wide array of outdoor play equipment that is for fun AND education, including a Bouncy Castle, Water Slide and our custom‐made Tree Trunk See‐Saw
Freshly Cooked Food is a vital part of the Scooters Creche service. We have an experienced chef, who creates a constantly changing, interesting menu that has our children eating, for instance, many a healthy vegetable that they would normally shy away from!
