Scooters is a purpose-built facility offering professional childcare, including Montessori teaching, for children up to school age.
We also provide an After-School Club for school-going children up to 12 years of age. Our aim is to maintain the highest standard of care and structure for all children attending, in a stimulating, exciting and safe environment.
AND we want them to have fun !!
We also have a 4,000 sq. ft. outdoor play area, with a combination of “Easifall” surface and grass surface, where the children can enjoy a huge array of outdoor toys and equipment, while constantly supervised by our staff.
From the minute we walked in, we felt welcome. The place is always immaculate and the smell of food cooking in the kitchen would make you want to stay yourself sometimes. Always nutritious and freshly cooked, with delicious snacks.Our boys always stroll in the door and never have any hesitation, which speaks for itself.
Scooters Creche and its staff are absolutely outstanding. The care and attention they provide to the children is exceptional. The staff members are experienced, compassionate, and go above and beyond to ensure each child feels valued and safe. I couldn’t be happier with the level of care my children have received at Scooters Creche.
I don’t even know where to begin in explaining how invaluable the staff and facilities at Scooters are to myself, my husband and our 2 kids.
We have been sending our children to Scooters since 2020 and I consider myself so lucky to be able to put my children into such a fantastic creche.
Our Bobblers are provided with a wide range of toys that encourage development and exploration. As this is the year that the children, literally, find their feet, they need very little encouragement to explore!!
Except for sleep time, it’s non-stop action all day in this room!
The Bobbler Room has its own separate sleep area, so the children can rest or sleep with a minimum of disturbance when they need to.
This room offers activities that aid the development of concentration. A lot of time is dedicated to paints, crafts, singing and dancing . A wide selection of books in our little library area for lots of story-telling
For the older children there is a pre-Momtessori introduction.
Individual children can take their rest or sleep periods, as they need them. When each child is ready, he or she will be encouraged into toilet training. This is only done after consultation with the respective parents.
The children are introduced to the Montessori Method of teaching, using precise, activity- provoking learning aids, which encourage the development of the child at his or her own
individual pace, in a relaxed, enjoyable environment. Imaginative play and sound interaction is encouraged in Home Corner, with dressing up, puppet play and much more. As with all our children, weather permitting, there are outdoor, supervised, playtime periods in our 4,000sq. ft. Playground.
Scooters has a homework club, which is supervised. The children get a full dinner. For those who wear a school uniform, we recommend that parents provide a change of clothing for use in the crèche, as it protects the uniform.
Among many other things, a full range of arts and crafts activities are provided. Weather permitting, all our After-Schoolers also have supervised access to our large playground.
